Introduction:
The Dhakuakhana W.R. Division was established on 16th April 2008. Earlier the jurisdiction of this division was belonging to the Dhemaji WR Division, Dhemaji. Presently this Division comprising of 2 (two) Nos. of Sub-Divisions namely -
1) Dhakuakhana W.R. Sub-Division-I, Dhakuakhana
2) Dhakuakhana W.R. Sub-Division-II, Ghilamaraa
Our History :
Earlier the jurisdiction of Dhakuakhana W.R. Division was belonging to the Dhemaji WR Division, Dhemaji.
Our Mandate :
The main objective of this division is to optimal sustainable protection of Dhakuakhana Co-District area against flood and river bank erosion. The river and dyke system of this division is as follows :-
